In a recent interview with podcaster Adesope for his show “The Afrobeats Podcast,” Bella Shmurda shared some wise words Wizkid gave him when they first met in Ghana to work on a project.
Bella said that when he sought the grammy-award-winner for advice on his music, Wiz suggested that he maintain both his integrity as a person and the quality of his work. Bella made known that:
Prior to this year, my team had told me that Bella, you don’t go out, you are scarce, like you know I am just trying to preserve myself. I met Wiz in Ghana, and I asked for advice, and he told me Bella, one thing preserve yourself. like he gave me that big advice, and I held it. Like not only my music my attitude. Like your voice can’t be everywhere you can’t see me everywhere.
