‘There Will Be Riot If I’m Attacked In LASU’ – Bella Shmurda Finally Breaks Silence
In response to the controversy at LASU, where he was scheduled to perform a few weeks ago, Nigerian street hip-pop artist, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, professionally known as Bella Shmurda, has stated that he “cannot be attacked in LASU” or else, there “will be riot.”
The musician recently shared the real background behind the viral incident involving himself, rapper Odumodublvck, and LASU students during an interview with Cool FM Lagos.
After a show at the Lagos State University (LASU) that Bella Shmurda and Odumodublvck were scheduled to perform was poorly organized, the two became social media trends.
According to different stories backed by pictures on social media, the two artists were attacked and had to run for their lives at the University after the show was disorganized.
However, Shmurda told a different narrative on Cool FM, denying being attacked or fleeing and claiming that if he was ever attacked at LASU, there would be a riot.
He noted that things only got noisy due to the large crowd and the small size of the venue. He began his words with ‘I can’t be attacked in LASU. There will be riot’.
Watch him speak:
"I cannot be attacked in LASU. There will be riot"
