Winner of the 2021 BBnaija show, White Money is hopeful he can succeed in the music industry and win a Grammy even despite the advice coming from critics.
White Money has stated that he will win global music awards such as the MTV Video Music Awards and the Grammy Awards.
He said this in response to those who were against him pursuing a music career after hearing his new song, Selense.
Some fans and critics have urged White Money to abandon music as a vocation.
Despite the negative criticism, the reality star maintained optimism about his future musical success in a radio interview.
He stated that he will win MTV awards as well as all other international accolades.
Recall that the young entrepreneur whose real name is Hazel Oyeze Onou won the 2021 BBNaija show. While he wasn’t known as an artist during his time in the BBnaija house, he however released his first single, “Selense“.
He seems to be following in the lane of Laycon who was the 2020 edition of the show’s winner and has several singles to his name.
Laycon also dropped his debut album, ‘Shall we Begin” which was met with critical acclaim, in the second quarter of the year, he followed up with the soundtrack album, “I Am Laycon.”
In an interview, White Money stated that he has been doing music even before he entered Big Brother’s house.
He also stated that one doesn’t need to have a slick voice to sing as long as one can be on key.
When asked where he sees himself in the next year, the singer stated that he hopes to win big awards like a Grammy, MTV Award or the rest.
With White Money’s recent declaration, many netizens don’t believe he can pull it off.
