Portable slams BBNaija, says reality show has lost its spark
Controversial Nigerian artist Portable has voiced dissatisfaction with the popular reality TV show “Big Brother Naija (BBNaija),” stating that it has lost its charm.
In an Instagram story, Portable expressed his disappointment with the latest season, claiming it did not produce any notable stars. He further criticized the participants, suggesting they had yet to achieve significant fame, which, in his opinion, has made the show less entertaining.
“BB BROTHER NO SWEET AGAIN LIKE BEFORE,” Portable remarked. “ALL THOSE PEOPLE NO BLOW. MAKE THEM PAY ME 100M, I GO USE CRUISE FINISH THEM. DR. ZEH.”
His comments followed the conclusion of BBNaija’s season 9, sparking discussions among fans and followers. While some agreed that the show’s format may need a refresh, others defended it. Portable’s remarks have fueled the ongoing debate about the show’s evolving impact on contestants’ careers and overall appeal.
In other news, Portable shared his experience regarding an invitation to a party hosted by American hip-hop icon Sean “Diddy” Combs during his trip to the United States.
During a live session, Portable revealed that despite receiving a VIP invitation to the event, close associates advised him against attending. He expressed gratitude for heeding that advice, implying that otherwise he might have been associated with Diddy and his controversies.
Taking a subtle jab at those who chose to attend Diddy’s party, Portable questioned whether they genuinely earned their lavish multi-million Naira cars or compromised their integrity for success through association with the hip-hop mogul.
He stated, “I have some questions for some people; Na God save me when I went to America. They said we should go for Diddy’s party. God saved me that I did not go.”
