Bayern Munich director speaks on Christopher Nkunku’s transfer talks

Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Max Eberl, has addressed the club’s stance on transfers during the ongoing January window, dismissing recent media speculations linking them to Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku and the potential involvement of Mathys Tel.
Eberl made it clear that Bayern Munich is satisfied with their current squad and has no plans to bring in new players this month.
“We have no interest in doing anything in January. Nkunku rumors? We are extremely happy with our squad. As for Tel, you can see he’s not playing with freedom right now, and it’s our job to give him the time he needs to regain that freedom. Our squad is well-equipped in terms of both quality and quantity,” Eberl stated.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is reportedly considering offloading some players before the window closes, with an emphasis on allowing unhappy players to depart.
However, the Blues are unlikely to let Nkunku go without securing a suitable replacement, potentially exploring options like Tel to bolster their squad.
