FC Barcelona finally made it official on Monday; the long-awaited homecoming is here.

The club announced that their LaLiga meeting with Athletic Club will take place this Saturday, November 22, at 16:15 CET at Camp Nou, marking their first game back at the iconic ground after months away at Montjuic and even two temporary outings at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
For this return, Camp Nou will welcome fans with a limited capacity of 45,401, as the stadium remains under phased redevelopment. Ticket sales opened immediately after the announcement.
The green light comes after Barcelona secured the first occupancy license for Phase 1B, allowing them to safely host matches again.
The club also noted that work is ongoing to validate Phase 1C, which would allow the reopening of the Gol Nord section once all safety, comfort, and operational standards are cleared.
Barcelona is also looking ahead to Europe. According to the update, all required conditions have already been fulfilled for UEFA approval to hold their December 9 Champions League home tie against Eintracht Frankfurt at Camp Nou; now they’re simply waiting for the final thumbs-up.
After a long stretch away from home, the return to Camp Nou is finally becoming real.
We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here.
