Fans of Wizkid dug up one of his old tweets where Wizkid asked Banky W to help his music career.
Fans used the tweet as a source of inspiration and motivated others not to give up on their dreams and visions.
Some used the opportunity to praise Wizkid and hailed him as the greatest afrobeat artist in Nigeria.
Banky W reacting to these tweets clarified what really happened. He explained that the tweet was a joke as Wizkid was already signed to EME music for almost one year and a half when he posted the tweet.
Banky W said that he and Wizkid were just catching cruise. He added that getting successful or famous does not happen by tweeting but by working.
