‘Back to the Soil’ – Asake Unveils Plans for Massive 2025 African Tour

Multiple award-winning Afropop star Asake has set fans abuzz with the announcement of his 2025 ‘Mr. Money African Tour,’ which will be staged exclusively in African countries.

The tour is scheduled to kick off this December, with major dates confirmed for Nairobi on December 20, Lagos on December 24, and Côte d’Ivoire on December 27. The shows mark Asake’s much-anticipated return to Nigeria, where he has not performed in a while, and follow nearly a year spent touring and recording abroad.

The announcement crowns what has already been a powerful run for the singer in 2025. He released two solo singles, Why Love and Badman Gangsta featuring French star Tiakola, both of which topped streaming charts across Africa.

In addition, Asake has lent his voice to several high-profile collaborations, including Che Che with Young Jonn, 99 with Olamide, Gold with UK rapper J Hus, and Satisfaction with American rapper Gunna.

Adding to the buzz, Asake has been teasing his upcoming album, Mr. Money, throughout the year. While no release date has been confirmed, the project is widely expected to drop before the tour, fueling even greater anticipation.

With his signature energy and reputation for delivering unforgettable performances, Asake’s December run promises to be one of the year’s standout live experiences for African music lovers.
