Nigerian artist Ayra Starr has cherished her encounter with Barbadian superstar Rihanna.
The ‘Rush’ singer expressed her surprise that the billionaire Grammy-winning singer was familiar with her work.
In a recent conversation with BuzzFeed, Ayra Starr shared her excitement, saying, “My biggest celebrity moment is Rihanna. I met Rihanna about two weeks ago.”
“I went to the Authentic Woman event in London. It was amazing; I got to meet Rihanna. Do you know how crazy that is? And she loves me, she knew me that was the most amazing part of it. She knew me. It was so amazing.”
Ayra was astounded by Rihanna’s knowledge of her, which she described as the most incredible part of the experience.
During their meeting at the Authentic Woman event in the UK, Rihanna expressed her interest in collaborating with Ayra Starr and Tems on a song, showcasing her admiration for the Nigerian artists.
