Ayra Starr recently replied to a TikTok user who labelled her as someone who dislikes clothes in response to a new video she posted online.
Ayra Starr, who frequently grabs attention for wearing skimpy and revealing clothing, is dragged and chastised by fans and internet users, but she has stayed resolute and unwavering.
The singer recently had a holiday in Trinidad where she easily learned about the locals’ culture by dressing up in their customary exposing carnival attire.
She then shared the video on her page with her verified TikTok username, which attracted netizens.
The TikTok user identified by her username as @Hennessy wrote: “Sabi girl no de too like clothes.”
In reaction, Ayra Starr affirmed that one ought to be original at all times. She wrote: “Be original my love”

This isn’t the first time the young songstress has been called out over her love for skimpy outfits.
Last year, the singer on several occasions came under fire for her clothes to events. One of the most memorable moments that prompted a response from her was the criticism that erupted from her dressing at a Meta Performance.
Videos of Ayra at the event went viral after she rocked a tiny skirt that exposed almost all of her body and a skimpy top with her trademark knee-high boots.
Ayra Starr also seemed to pair the outfit with matching underwear as it became glaring at a point during her performance.
Netizens took to social media to react, with many saying Ayra exposed too much flesh in the video.
However, the “Rush” crooner wasn’t too disturbed by the backlash as she took to Twitter to drop a voice note about the issue.
At the beginning of the voice note, the singer sarcastically begged for forgiveness before laughing and singing a part of the lyrics of her hit song, “Rush“.
After singing, she said, ‘Do you think I was joking?’ before asking fans to stream “Won Da Mo” a song by her and the Mavin crew.
