Ayra Starr cancels shows in Germany & Denmark due to visa concerns.
Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, cancelled her performances in Germany and Denmark due to visa complications.
Recall, Early last month, the Mavin Records-signed singer missed her three-city show in the US over ill health.
The singer, who is currently on tour, recently announced on Instagram that she will be cancelling her gigs in Berlin, Bergenfest, and Copenhagen due to visa issues.
She made the statement on her Instagram account, where she voiced her dissatisfaction with the immigration complications that she said had been particularly difficult. She apologized to her fans and vowed to return with a spectacular performance as soon as the problem was rectified.
She wrote:
“Visa issues have hit hard!” Sadly, I had to cancel me performance in Berlin, Bergenfest, and Copenhagen.
“It’s incredibly frustrating, but I promise to bring an unforgettable performance as soon as the issue is resolved. Hang in there, amazing fans!”
