Following the buzzing remix of her smash hit, ‘Bloody Samaritan’, Ayra Starr returns with the complete package of melodies, as she premieres the deluxe version of her debut sophomore album, ’19 & Dangerous’.
On 19 & Dangerous, the artist explores love, betrayal, and self-assurance as she charts the passage from adolescence to adulthood. She tells Apple Music, “One day, it simply dawned on me that I’m not afraid of failing, I’m not afraid of mistakes—I’m ready to work hard to go where I want to. “I’m ready for any fall, no matter how big. You become dangerous when you realize that you’re not afraid to make mistakes because you genuinely have nothing to lose. I’m a threat at 19 years old. I’m prepared for anything.
Starr maintains her chutzpah and boldness throughout 19 & Dangerous, whether showcasing her grandeur in head-bobbing earworms or revealing her insecurities in moving songs.
