Avram Glazer breaks silence after putting Manchester United up for sale.
Despite putting Manchester United up for sale, Avram Glazer claims the family may not be ready to relinquish full control of the organization just yet.
The Americans made an announcement last month that they will be selling shares in order to raise money for the team.
After 17 years of protests, it appeared that the club was seeking a complete sale, which might net them up to £7 billion.
While the Glazers‘ apparent decision to put the club up for sale has encouraged United supporters, there is concern that the Americans may not yet be ready to relinquish full control of the Red Devils.
The greatest concerns of the fans were verified as Avram stated that United might not be sold as its whole. Avram and his five siblings own 90% of the club.

Asked for an update by the Athletic, Avram said: ‘It’s not necessarily a sale.
‘It’s a process and we’re going forward with the process, so we’ll see what happens. I’m here to really watch the World Cup but I appreciate your interest.
‘That’s the update, it’s the process and the process is proceeding.
Although this is a brief update from Avram Glazer, you’ve got to take everything he says with a pinch of salt. We’ve long reported that they had been considering a sale for at least six months.
Not only have the Glazers lied to United fans for years, but nobody is going to buy this idea of Avram being Qatar bound for the World Cup.
None of the Glazers care about football. Sport is purely a business to them.
