American singer Aura V has etched her name into Grammy history after becoming the youngest person ever to win a Grammy Award.

At just eight years old, the young star has broken a long-standing record previously held by Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of music icons Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
Aura V, who is widely known for making music alongside her father, achieved the feat at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards held on Sunday. The father-daughter duo won Best Children’s Music Album for their project, Harmony, sealing Aura’s place in the record books.
Before now, Blue Ivy held the distinction of being the youngest Grammy winner after receiving an award in 2021 at the age of nine. She maintained that status for five years, becoming one of the youngest winners in the history of the prestigious ceremony.
Aura V’s win, however, has now reset the benchmark. At eight years and seven months old, she has surpassed the previous record for the youngest individually credited Grammy winner. That record was earlier held by Leah Peasall, who was eight years and ten months old when she won her Grammy.
The historic moment has sparked widespread admiration, with many hailing Aura V as a rare young talent whose achievement highlights the evolving inclusivity of the Grammys and the growing space for children’s music on the global stage.
