Aston Villa have announced they will sign Youri Tielemans on a free transfer once his contract expires later this summer.
As Leicester were relegated to the Championship, the Belgium international ran down his contract.
He joins a Villans team that qualified for the Europa League after a mid-season turnaround under new manager Unai Emery.
A club statement reads: “Aston Villa is delighted to announce that the club has reached an agreement to sign Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans, a highly touted youth prospect at Anderlecht, joined Leicester on loan from Monaco in 2019 before making the transfer permanent later that year. He appeared in 195 games for the club, scoring 28 goals and winning the FA Cup in 2021 with a legendary goal in the 1-0 final triumph over Chelsea.
Under Brendan Rodgers, the 26-year-old impressed in a Leicester side that battled for Champions League qualifying, but his form, like that of the majority of his Foxes teammates, has dipped this season.
