Asake and Olamide’s ‘Amapiano’ Achieves Massive Debut, Dominating Charts in Less Than 24 Hours!
Less than 24 hours after its spectacular release, Nigerian Afro-pop singer Asake and Olamide’s song “Amapiano” had a tremendous debut on the charts.
On May 23, 2023, Asake and his label boss Olamide released an unanticipated song titled “Amapiano” that stunned many fans. Less than a day later, it had taken over the charts.
Less than 24 hours after its release, “Amapiano” scored a number-one debut on the Spotify Top Songs Nigeria Daily Chart with over 100,000 streams.
‘Amapiano‘ is also ranked 12 on the Apple Music Top 100 Songs Nigeria chart, albeit having fewer tracking hours.
Recall, Fans were ecstatic when Asake’s second album ‘Work Of Art‘ was announced, and the project’s release date was also revealed to fans to be June 15th, 2023.
The album “Work Of Art,” which has only had three tracks released, is quite prominent on the Apple Music Top Albums ranking.
Given how wonderfully his unexpected release performed in less than 24 hours, it would be an understatement to say that Asake was completely missed by his audience.
