    Asake’s Album ‘Work Of Art’ Bags One Billion Streams

    Buzzing Nigerian artist, Ahmed Ololade, renowned by his stage name Asake has hit a significant milestone with his second album, titled ‘Work Of Art,’ as it crosses the remarkable threshold of one billion streams across prominent digital streaming platforms.

    Within just two months of its release on June 16, 2023, YBNL signee Asake’s second studio album, “Work Of Art,” had amassed over 1.2 billion streams.

    After adding up the streams from five major digital streaming platforms (DSPs), including Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, the overall figure was calculated.

    The album had 425 million streams on Audiomack, 174.8 million streams on Boomplay, 114 million streams on Spotify, 135 million streams on Apple Music, and 180 million streams on YouTube.

    It’s important to note that these streams reflect the album’s accumulative count up until August 28th, yesterday. Since then, it’s highly likely that the numbers have continued to grow significantly.
