Following the launch of his music campaign, ‘Yoga’, for the year 2023, Asake returns with a befitting music video.
After a stellar 2022 that saw the release of albums like Omo Ope with Olamide and Sungba, Peace Be Unto You (PBUY), and of course, his critically acclaimed first album Mr Money With The Vibe, Asake releases the music video to his latest single, ‘Yoga’.
“Now, it was a challenge because me and Magicsticks had to make sure that sonically it wouldn’t sound too retro,” Asake tells Much Music Less Talk.“Writing the record was easy but producing it to make it fit was tough. It was worth it in the end“.

The song is layered with harmonious silky background vocals- synonymous with Asake’ unique sound as he sings effortlessly, passionately, and with confidence.
Yoga is produced by his partner in crime, Magic Sticks. It is Asake’s first single for 2023 and his first official output since he dropped his debut album. The music video on the other hand was shot and directed by TG Omori.
