Asake teases new single, ignites dating rumour with UK model
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Asake has teased an upcoming single, adding to what is already shaping up to be an exciting year for the hitmaker.
The snippet, which he shared via TikTok, comes on the heels of his public appearance with Ugandan model Eva Apio at the Marine Serre event in Paris. The duo were also spotted partying together in a Paris nightclub, further fueling dating speculations.

Asake’s latest teaser suggests he might be preparing to release his second single of 2025 following Why Love, which marked his first track since parting ways with YBNL. The song was released under his new imprint, Giran Republic, under which he also launched a marijuana retail business in California.
The Lonely At The Top crooner has been making headlines beyond music, unveiling bold new face tattoos and eye-catching fashion choices. Following his outing at the 67th Grammy Awards, Asake surprised fans with Military, a freestyle where he declared his new era of artistic freedom.
In addition to his musical ventures, Asake recently earned six nominations at the upcoming 17th Headies, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. He will be vying for his second consecutive Album of the Year award at the event set for April 5th.
With three albums released in three years and a fresh wave of music on the horizon, Asake appears set to dominate yet another year in the Afrobeats scene.
