Asake steals the show at UNTOLD Dubai Music Festival
Afrobeats luminary Asake recently headlined the prestigious Untold Music Festival in Dubai, marking a significant milestone in his career.
The Untold Music Festival, renowned as one of Europe’s largest music extravaganzas, made its grand debut in Dubai following the successful hosting of Cop28 at Expo City Dubai.
This expansive venue provided the perfect setting for the inaugural Untold Dubai festival, spanning four days and boasting over 100 artists from both international and regional backgrounds. The event primarily spotlighted the electronic music genre, with performances unfolding across four distinctive stages.
Untold’s venture onto the global stage represents a remarkable achievement, building upon its reputation as a premier dance music festival in central Europe under the Romanian brand. Featuring nearly 100 performances across five stages, the festival presented a diverse lineup encompassing dance music, hip-hop, Afro-pop, K-pop, and various other genres.
Taking place from February 15th to 18th, 2024, the festival showcased electrifying sets by renowned international artists such as Bebe Rexha, PSY, Kris Fade, Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding, Tiesto, DJ Bliss, G-Eazy, and more. Asake, a standout performer, mesmerized the audience with renditions of his chart-topping hits, including “2:30,” “Sungba,” and “Peace be Unto You.” His presence added a vibrant dimension to the festival, solidifying his status as a rising star in the global music scene.
