Singer, Asake speaks on why he sings in Yoruba.
YBNL recording act, Asake has said his local dialect, Yoruba Language is important to him and that’s the reason he sings most times with it.
The ‘Terminator’ crooner disclosed this in a recent interview with NewsLive Prime.
He said that a lot of people who listen to his songs understand the language.
Asake also added that he believes that music goes beyond the lyrics and for him, it is the feeling it evokes that matters.
He said:
“Yoruba is so important to me. To me the away I understand music is that it is a feeling.”
