Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake, born Ahmed Ololade, is reportedly on the verge of landing a massive endorsement deal with global sportswear giant Adidas.

According to reports by Leadership News, the deal—said to be worth $35 million—could see the singer become one of the faces of the brand, further cementing his growing global appeal. While both parties are yet to officially confirm the agreement, an announcement is expected once final details are sorted.
The potential partnership doesn’t come as a surprise to many, as Asake has built a visible connection with Adidas over time, frequently sporting the brand in his public appearances and performances.
Adding to the momentum, the singer recently delivered a standout performance at the Adidas Sounds of Superstars event held at the Adidas Arena in Paris, where he was fully styled by the brand—another sign of their strengthening relationship.
Beyond fashion, Asake’s career continues to soar musically. The Afrobeats hitmaker maintained his dominance in 2025, finishing as the No. 1 artist in Nigeria for the fourth consecutive year on the TurnTable charts. His independent single Why Love also emerged as the most-streamed song on Apple Music Nigeria, while his overall catalogue has surpassed 2 billion streams across platforms like Spotify and Audiomack.
There are also reports that Sony Music Entertainment is exploring a partnership with his label, Giran Republic, as part of efforts to expand its global reach.
If confirmed, the Adidas deal would mark another major milestone for Asake, reflecting both his commercial power and his influence beyond music.
