Asake’s New Song ‘Yoga’ Reaching Number One on the Apple Music Chart.
Ahmed Ololade Asake, better known by his stage name Asake, has resumed his top spot on the Apple Music Chart thanks to his new song, Yoga.
The artist launched a new song titled “Yoga” as his first song of 2023 following the enormous run he had in 2022 with hit singles including “Trabaye,” “Sungba,” “Omo Ope,” “Palazzo,” “Terminator,” “Joha,” and many more.
The highly traditional insightful song produced by his partner in crime, Magic Sticks, is Asake’s first single for 2023 and his first official output since he dropped his debut album. The song is accompanied by a pricey music video that was shot by TG Omori, the usual suspect.
In less than 24 hours after its release, the song has become the number one song in the country on the Apple Music Chart, making it the seventh time the singer who isn’t new to this has achieved such a feat.
Taking to Instagram, the singer shared the news after his label boss and iconic rapper Olamide initially announced it.

In the meantime, Blackface has opened up on why he called out Asake and stated that he anticipates being included in the remix of Joha.
He made this claim when he revisited his claim that Asake had stolen a song of his from 2020 and released it under his own name.
