Following the release of his third album “Lungu Boy,” Asake embarked on a world tour, headlining major venues, including the iconic O2 Arena, joining Davido and Wizkid in making O2 Arena history.

On September 22, 2024, Asake sold out the O2 Arena for the second time.

During the landmark concert, he thrilled fans with performances of his hit singles, including tracks from his “Lungu Boy” album.

With this latest feat of selling out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena, Asake joins fellow Afrobeats stars Davido and Wizkid as the few Nigerian artists to have sold out the O2 Arena more than once.

Asake first sold out the venue in 2023 following the release of his sophomore album ‘Work of Art,’ marking his global breakthrough.

The O2 Arena has played a significant role in documenting the global rise of Afrobeats.

Davido made history in 2018 as the first Nigerian solo act to headline the venue, followed by Wizkid, who headlined in 2019 and returned for three consecutive sold-out shows in 2021.
