Asake issues statement following the death of a fan, Rebecca Ikumelo.

The singer sends condolences to family of the deceased.
Raving singer, Asake has tendered a condolence message to the family of a deceased fan, ‘Rebecca Ikumelo’ who had been in a critical condition since Thursday.
Earlier, the singer had issued a public apology for the cancellation of his London show which held on the 15th of December, due to security reasons and disturbance.
Mp3bullet gathered that Asake emphasised he had not yet received all the information regarding what caused the commotion at the door to The Brixton Academy, where he had his event.
Following the death of one of the fans who attended the show, Asake writes the deceased family, promising to be in touch.

He shared on his Instagram page, “I am devastated by the news that Rebecca Ikumelo who was in a critical condition since Thursday has sadly passed away.
My sincerest condolences to her loved ones at this time. Let us please keep her family in our prayers. I have spoken to them and will continue to do so.
“I am overwhelmed with grief and could never have imagined anything like this happening.
“My team and I are still awaiting the full debrief back from the venue management and the Police to determine what exactly led to all the disruption caused and ultimately to Rebecca’s passing.”
Asake further urged the public to revere any information that will assist in the case.
“If you have any relevant information relating to this please do reach out to the Metropolitan Police.”
