In the interview, he revealed that a friend had forwarded Olamide the hit song “Omo Ope,” and that after the rapper and music executive had leapt on it, he invited the singer over.
According to Asake, Baddo, who claimed he had been keeping tabs on the singer, asked him casually if he was interested in joining the YBNL family and the rest, they say, is history.
The singer agreed to the signing as a favour because he had been texting and begging Olamide to assist him up until now.
