Asake, Ayra Starr among the headliners for 2025 Summer Jam Festival

Nigerian music stars Asake and Ayra Starr have been announced as headliners for Summer Jam 2025, one of the most anticipated concerts of the year.
Organized by HOT 97, New York’s leading hip-hop radio station, Summer Jam is set to bring together some of the biggest global stars for an electrifying night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on June 20, 2025.
Asake and Ayra Starr will share the stage with an impressive lineup, including A Boogie, Gunna, GloRilla, Muni Long, Ja Rule & Friends (A Tribute to Irv Gotti), Kash Doll, Bobby Konders & Jabba ft. Masicka, Jim Jones & Friends, Cash Cobain, 41 (Kyle Rich, Jenn Carter, Tata), and more.

Speaking about the event, Shelby Joyner, Founder of SJ Presents and President of The Black Promoters Collective, described Summer Jam as the pinnacle of Hip-Hop culture:

This marks another major festival appearance for Asake, who was recently unveiled as one of the headliners for the Yardland Festival in France, where he will perform alongside global stars like American rapper Latto, Belgian rapper Hamza, and French sensation Tiakola.
Asake’s 2025 has been nothing short of eventful. He earned his second Grammy nomination at the 67th Grammy Awards and recently secured six nominations at the upcoming 17th Headies, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. With his current streak, he is aiming to clinch his second consecutive Album of the Year award at the ceremony scheduled for April 27th.
