The family of Afrobeats sensation Asake has finally addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding the singer and his ailing father, Fatai Odunsin, urging him to take responsibility.

“Asake, always remember that your father will always be your father. Come and take care of your father, also your 11-year-old daughter and your babymama. Even if the whole of Nigeria donates N1 billion to Asake’s father, the N1 million Asake will donate will make Papa Asake feel much better. Asake, come and build a house for your father so he can be collecting rent,” the family stated.
