The talented Nigerian vocalist, Asa, has confirmed that her album, titled “Five,” will be released next year.
Nigerian ace singer, songwriter and performer, Bukola Elemide, popularly known as Asa has given details on the release and title of her incoming album.
During an interview with prominent media personality Ebuka Uchendu on the show “Black Box Interview,” the Nigerian-French vocalist revealed a lot about her musical career and beliefs.

The conversation, which was split into two halves, lasted over two hours and saw the reserved Asa open up on a variety of issues, including personal anecdotes.
The singer said in the interview that her upcoming album, which will also be her fifth studio album, would be titled “five” and will be released in early 2022, probably in January or February.
During the interview, Asa also talked bluntly and openly about the Nigerian music scene, hailing Ruggedman as a “saviour” at a time when the Nigerian music business was overwhelmed with garbage.
Speaking about collaborations, whether internally or internationally, she mentioned Davido, Niniola, Teni, and Simi as artistes she would love to work with.
She also said in the interview that she is working on a project with Grammy-nominated Wizkid and another project with fantastic artist Wurld.
