Arsenal agree deal for Poland international Jakub Kiwior.
According to reports, Arsenal have agreed a deal worth in excess of €20m for Polish international defender Jakub Kiwior.
The 22-year-old went to Italy from Zilina in the summer of 2021 and has been with his current club Spezia ever since.
At the most recent World Cup in Qatar, Kiwior played for Poland and made four appearances as they advanced to the competition’s knockout rounds for the first time since 1986.
However, sources have told us that his Serie A career is coming to an end because Premier League leaders Arsenal are nearing a deal that will be worth more than €20 million. This weekend, a medical checkup is expected to be completed.

Highly regarded Kiwior is anticipated to agree to a long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium, which will expand Mikel Arteta’s choices in the centre of defence. The two main stars for the Spaniard have been William Saliba and Gabriel, with Ben White switching to an unfamiliar right-back position for the majority of the 2022–23 season.
Leandro Trossard of Brighton & Hove Albion is also close to joining Arsenal after conditions for an urgent transfer were agreed upon on Thursday.
According to reports, the 28-year-old Belgian will cost Arsenal £27m, which is the asking price Brighton stated would have to be paid in order for a transaction to be completed.
