The January transfer window closes on Tuesday night, and Arsenal are in a rush to add a new central midfielder to Mikel Arteta’s squad.

The Premier League’s top teams are looking at other possibilities, and signing Jorginho from Chelsea would be a less expensive one.
The Italy international has entered the final six months of his contract but it’s understood that Chelsea were holding out for a £15m to £20m transfer fee.
