Annie Idibia makes first social media post after divorce saga with 2baba
Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has spoken publicly for the first time since her estranged husband, Innocent 2Baba Idibia, announced their divorce earlier this year.
In January 2025, 2Baba revealed that he and Annie had been separated for a while before officially filing for divorce. Rumors later surfaced that Annie had checked into a rehabilitation facility, and she remained inactive on social media during this period.
However, the actress made a comeback to social media—deleting all her previous posts before sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude to her family, friends, and supporters worldwide who stood by her.
Her message notably excluded any mention of 2Baba, and she signed off without using “Idibia” in her name, referring to herself as Annie Uwana Macaulay instead.

Meanwhile, 2Baba has moved on and is now romantically involved with Edo state lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru. He has openly declared his love for her but insists she had nothing to do with the breakdown of his marriage to Annie.
“Everybody is going to be alright, and everyone is fine. There is no fight or quarrel. Honourable Natasha has been called names and labeled a home breaker, but she had nothing to do with what’s happening in my marriage to Annie. I love her. She’s amazing and cool, and I want to marry her.”
2Baba and Annie were married for 12 years after tying the knot in 2012. They share two daughters.
