Grammy-award-winning Beninoise singer, Angelique Kidjo has been unveiled as one of the actors on Viola Davis’ upcoming movie titled, “The Woman King.”
Legendary music prodigy, Angelique Kidjo has been revealed as one of the acts on ‘The Woman King‘ movie by Viola Davis.
The veteran movie producer and actress, Viola Davis made the announcement via her Instagram page.
Alongside Kidjo, she unveiled another set of actors starring, Jimmy Odukoya, Thando Dlomo, and Jordan Bolger.

The Woman King is one of four expected movies on Sony Pictures from African-American filmmakers and is scheduled to premiere on the 16th of September, 2022.
