Amarae releases a special video to reveal her forthcoming album.
Ghanaian American singer, & songwriter Ama Serwah Genfi, known professionally as Amaarae shared a video on her social media pages to announce her upcoming album.
Amaarae, who is well recognized for her music on gender, ethnicity, and identity, is a major player in the world music scene.
The singer has released a couple of singles that aren’t from an album because she now spends more time there.
She has worked with regional musicians, and in 2017 she released her first EP, Passionfruit Summer. She arguably rose to fame with the song Sad Girlz Love Money, on which she collaborated with Moliy.

Amaarae has worked with well-known artists from all over the world in addition to Nigerian musicians like Tiwa Savage, Blaqbonez, and others. She is well recognized for the melancholy tone of her music, and this new album, “Fountain Baby,” will expose fans to who Amarae is the more.
On announcing her forthcoming project, the singer only revealed the album’s title, “Fountain Baby,” but she withheld the release date and artist names.
