According to reports, Alexis Mac Allister will have a medical with Liverpool on Tuesday as the Reds work to complete his deal.
A long-term contract has been reached with Mac Allister, whose agreement with Brighton is said to have a mechanism that Liverpool will trigger to expedite this transaction.
Liverpool have acted quickly to secure the signature of Mac Allister, who is seen as an integral part of a midfield rebuild at Anfield, and sources have confirmed that the 24-year-old is due to undergo a medical on Tuesday.
Mac Allister is scheduled to leave for overseas service later this week, so everyone concerned is eager to close the deal as soon as possible. All indications point to Liverpool getting their desire.
