Nigerian professional footballer and Everton winger Alex Iwobi has shared his thoughts about BNXN (formerly known as Buju’s) latest project, Bad Since ’97 following its release.
As Alex Iwobi reacts to the singer’s most recent project, Bad Since ’97, all the planets are coming together to confirm that it is once again BNXN fka Buju season.
Interestingly, after debuting at the number 4 position on the UK Apple music album charts and number 6 on the US counterpart, BNXN’s EP currently holds the position of being the third highest charting Nigerian project after Burna Boy’s Love Damini and Wizkid’s Made in Lagos.

BNXN has also stated that when working on the project, he was not particular about creating dance music and instead took care to construct melodies for various emotions and behaviors.
Buju and Alex have been publicly pals since 2021, when the footballer presented the singer with an autographed jersey.
On the 26th of August 2022, Iwobi took to his social media page to share his thought about the project that included a screenshot of him listening to BNXN’s Bad Since ’97 on Apple Music and the word “Melodies” as an obvious nod to the artist’s body of work.
