The talented Nigerian singer and songwriter Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, known professionally as Joeboy, latest smash hit, “Alcohol”, has risen to second place on the Billboard Global Triller chart this week.

According to this week’s Billboard charts, Joeboy’s “Alcohol” is now the second most played song on Triller globally.

This was shared by Triller via Instagram on Wednesday, the 20th of October 2021.

Recall, Last month, Joeboy released Alcohol, his first song since releasing his debut album, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic”. On TikTok, the song became an instant smash, with many individuals creating videos using the sound.

The videos quickly turned to people pouring various drinks and foods on themselves, which the afrobeat star himself rejected. He cautioned his fans not to get involved in such risky behavior and absolved himself of any blame.
