Nigerian afrobeat star Joeboy, latest smash hit, “Alcohol”, has moved to second place on the Billboard Global Triller chart.
The talented Nigerian singer and songwriter Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, known professionally as Joeboy, latest smash hit, “Alcohol”, has risen to second place on the Billboard Global Triller chart this week.
According to this week’s Billboard charts, Joeboy’s “Alcohol” is now the second most played song on Triller globally.

Recall, Last month, Joeboy released Alcohol, his first song since releasing his debut album, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic”. On TikTok, the song became an instant smash, with many individuals creating videos using the sound.
The videos quickly turned to people pouring various drinks and foods on themselves, which the afrobeat star himself rejected. He cautioned his fans not to get involved in such risky behavior and absolved himself of any blame.

As a result of the recent buzz surrounding Joeboy’s Alcohol, it has risen to become the second most-used song on the Triller chart globally, according to Billboard
However, Alcohol isn’t the only Nigerian song on the top. “Love Nwatiti” by CKay is at no. 4, while “Ale Yi” and “High” by Zlatan and Adekunle Gold, respectively, are at no.9 and 10 on the chart.
