Despite being deceased, Kiernan AKA Forbes continues to triumph by virtue of the success of his track Lemons(Lemonade).
The single featuring Nasty C has been certified five times platinum, according to the music label the rapper signed with, Vth Season, which made the announcement on Wednesday.
“With a heavy heart we announce that Lemons to Lemonade by @akaworldwide and @nasty_csa is 5 x PLATINUM with over 12 million streams +,” the label wrote.
The business congratulated the listeners for streaming the song, which has now had more than 12 million streams.
“We wish to thank every single listener, fan and the MEGACY and all the creative talent that worked on this song and album. You have helped make a MASTERPIECE and you have made Kiernan very proud.”
The song has performed remarkably well considering that its teaser generated a range of reactions, with the majority being unfavourable remarks. Do we have the AKA effect here? Whether you like him or not, despite his provocative approaches to the sounds, the man has an ear for successful tunes.
AKA’s (Lemonade) single, which was released in September 2022, quickly amassed 1 million listens on Apple Music and Spotify as well as 1 million views on YouTube four days after its debut.
