AKA didn’t find it funny as a South African TV host, Scoop said he needs to take a break from music so as to give way to upcoming artists.
Scoop, a South African presenter in an interview called out AKA, Kwesta, Cassper Nyovest to stop doing music.
According to him, they don’t have anything new to contribute and that they should pave way for upcoming artists.
AKA in response took to Twitter to write,
“When I FORCED my way into this industry, I had to do it amongst some of the greatest names SA has ever seen. This is Hip Hop, not crèche … nobody “gets” a fucking “chance”.
Now we must take a break so that other kids can get a “chance” … that’s the softest shit I’ve ever heard in my life. THIS. IS. HIP. HOP. NOT. CRÈCHE.
A lot of upcoming artists think they deserve a “chance” … listen here, nobody owes you jack shit.
Scoop is my brother, my guy, but sometimes he can really talk nonsense.”
His Rival, Cassper Nyovest also responded to Scoop saying that he has a lot to contribute and that his advice doesn’t apply to him.
Scoop is my brother, my guy, but sometimes he can really talk nonsense.
