Agon John aka Ajay-P is a Nigerian born song writer/composer, vocalist and entertainer. His genre of music is African contemporary, which is RnB/Hip-Hop and Dance-hall with vocal/lyrical delivery in plain English, pidgin English fussed with various African dialect composed songs. A co-founding member of the group Formerly known as “Da Natives” which released a self titled debut Album “We Be Da Natives” an album which had hit tracks such as “Draw Nearer” and “Shain Pepe” enjoyed radio spins that led to performances on both national and international concerts such as the
“Thisday Music Concerts” in Nigeria and UK”, the “Tuface Idibia European and African” tours, the “Bob Marley Remembrance Concert” in Jamaica…etc As a song writer Ajay P has written/co-written songs for artiste such as 2face Idibia “implication” and “Keep On Rocking”, Faze “I Miss U” and “Tears From ur Eyes”, Blackface “Carry Us Go” and “Nigeria” and Kween “Wen Wind Blow” and ” Black Widow”… just to mention a few.
Ajay-P just released 2 brand New Singles titled “HIGH BP (High Blood Pressure)” and “Filomina” which currently treading and enjoy spins in clubs. He is also in the studios working on his yet to be titled solo debut album project.
