John Agoha is an act who was born and bred in the great city of Benin. He attended University of Benin, after which he proceeded to Benjof showbiz academy in 2006. Agoha as he is called was the 1st Runner Up, Star quest 2006 & 1st Runner South Africa Music Jamboree (2007) after which he relocated to Nigeria and currently signed to Chaka Records by Philip Trimnell, CEO, Music Africa. His first single “Omalicha” was released in 2010 and this has made him step on big stages such as AY Live Show, Teju Baby Face Show, Rhythm Unplugged, Nigerian Music Video Awards Night, Star Trek, Ice Magazine, Terry G Album Launch amongst others.
In December 2012, Agoha went on tour to the following countries, Kenya, Dubai, France, UK, and Ethiopia and recently on the 14th September, 2013 his single called “Selense” was unveiled at the Ember Creek, Ikoyi Lagos.
