AG Baby shares what gives him happiness
Nigerian award-winning artist Adekunle Gold, known as AG Baby, has candidly shared what brings him happiness, admitting that money plays a significant role in it.
In a departure from his previous assertion in his song that “Money no dey bring happiness,” the artist has now revealed that money currently contributes to his happiness.
AG Baby made this statement on Twitter while responding to a fan named Habeeb, who humorously asked him for some of the money he had mentioned.
“Dear Uncle @adekunleGOLD, please give me some of that money that supposedly doesn’t bring you happiness,” Habeeb pleaded in jest.

In his response, the ‘Sinner‘ crooner politely apologized to Habeeb and acknowledged that the money he currently possesses indeed brings him happiness.
“It actually brings me happiness now. Sorry about that,” he tweeted, indicating a change in his previous stance on the relationship between money and happiness.

This is coming days after Adekunle openly appealed to his social media followers for financial assistance, citing his current sadness. In his plea, AG Baby specifically requested dollars, stating that given his mental state, receiving hard currency would be the only thing capable of bringing a smile to his face.
“The way I am tired and sad today, as I am feeling right now, only money can make me smile. And yes, I know I said money doesn’t bring happiness, but today, I’ve changed my mind. So if you care about me and want to see me smile, send dollars,” he expressed candidly.
