AG Baby discusses what he values in his marriage to Simi.
Nigerian Afropop singer, Adekunle Gold as known as AG Baby has opened up on what he loves about his marriage with Simi.
In an interview with BBC News, Adekunle Gold discussed how fortunate he feels to be married to a woman who values his profession.
He stated he is still learning how to strike a balance between his obligations to his family, his job, and other responsibilities because their marriage is still young.
He says he still makes sure to check in with them and monitor their routine even while he is gone on business.
He acknowledged knowing when they are awake and making sure to act appropriately.
“It’s crazy, I mean, I’m still in the early stage, yea. But I’m learning every day to prioritize, like, family more.
“You know and when it’s time to work, we work, right?
“Like I’m on a work trip now but I don’t feel to check in all the time.
“You know, I know when they will be up. So, I make sure I follow through and all of that, and then, when we are home it’s strictly at home.
“Maybe work a little bit alongside. It’s been interesting and I’m blessed that I’m married to somebody that understands it.
“You know, if i was married to somebody that doesn’t just understand the life of a singer”, he said.
Even if the couple may benefit from some assistance with certain activities, he always gives his wife and daughter his complete attention when he is at home.
