Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold, popularly known as AG Baby, has announced that his sixth studio album, FUJI, will be released on October 3, 2025.
In a heartfelt post on social media, the Coco Money hitmaker described the project as a new chapter in his life and career, reflecting his roots, personal experiences, and growth over the years.
“This album has been five years in the making and it is my greatest work yet,” Gold wrote. “It carries where I come from, who I have become, and where I’m heading. It’s my story — the lessons I’ve learned, the friendships I’ve lost, the wins I’ve celebrated, the grief of losing my father, the joy of welcoming my daughter into the world, and so much more.”
Known for blending highlife, Afropop, and soulful storytelling, Adekunle Gold is now venturing into even bolder territory. With FUJI, he reimagines one of Nigeria’s most iconic traditional sounds for a global audience, while staying true to his heritage.
The singer added that the album marks a return to his essence as a storyteller:
“This phase is rooted in the very beginning of my journey. I’ve shown you many sides of me, but this album is me, Adekunle Kosoko.”

Fans can expect a vibrant, danceable yet deeply reflective body of work. Notably, Adekunle Gold revealed that he will not unveil any featured artists until the album drops, encouraging listeners to experience the project without preconceived expectations.
His last album, Tequila Ever After (2023), featured 18 tracks with high-profile collaborations including Pharrell Williams, Khalid, Simi, and Odumodublvck.
