Big Zulu opens up after getting dragged for R15 000 price tag
After receiving criticism for the R15 000 tag that hung on his jacket during the Metro FM Music Awards over the weekend, rapper Big Zulu talked about how cyberbullying hurts celebrities.
Social media users could not stop praising the R15 000 leather jacket worn by musician Siyabonga Nene aka Big Zulu.
After being ridiculed at the Metro FM Music Awards for having an R15 000 price tag on his jacket, rapper Big Zulu talks about cyberbullying.
He was accused of bragging about how much his jacket cost in South Africa, according to newsmen, while others claimed he saved the price tag so he could return the jacket to the shop the following day.
The rapper admitted on his social media that it hurts that people are always ready to attack them, despite the fact that he was unable to explain why he was wearing the leather jacket with the price tag.
“Today, I’m opening up. It is difficult to be a musician. We always face insults, and hate and are always insulted and called bad names on Twitter and Facebook.
“People are always on standby to attack us. In this industry, you don’t know your enemy and your friend.”
meanwhile, Nene urged supporters to pause and show respect as artists work arduously to transform people’s lives as well as the lives of their parents and children.
“In this work, we thank God if we wake up and get another chance where there is nothing people are insulting or attacking us trying to find the mistake. All I ask is respect and thank all those who are still able to respect other people,” he said.
