Nigerian Afropop star, Adekunle Gold celebrated the one-year anniversary of his third album, “Afro Pop Vol 1” on August 21, 2021.
‘Afro Pop Vol. 1′ which was released on August 21, 2020, was Adekunle Gold’s third studio album.
Gold, who shared the tracklist and streaming stats on Instagram, described it as his “most successful project yet.”
According to the stats he put out, the album has received 228 million (228 million) streams.
He also stated that the record had a significant impact on his life.
The album has been streamed a total of 228 million times across all digital platforms, with hits like ‘AG Baby‘ and ‘Something Different,’ as well as sleeper successes like ‘Okay.’

On his Instagram page, he wrote,

The singer, who is now on a US tour of cities such as Texas, Minneapolis, California, Florida, and others from July 2 to October 2, 2021, has also hinted at his follow-up album.
He wrote on his Twitter account, “On my next album, look for all of the tracks that begin with the letter “s.” It’s all on fire!”
