Billboard and Afro Nation have officially announced their partnership to launch the US Afrobeats Songs chart.
On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, Billboard announced that the first-ever US Afrobeats Songs chart would be launched in collaboration with music festival giants Afro Nation.
The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Song chart is set to go live on the billboard website on March 29, 2022, and the chart would rank the top 50 popular afrobeats songs in the United States.

On March 29, the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart will be available on Billboard.com.
The chart ranks the top 50 most popular Afrobeats songs in the country using a weighted formula that includes official streams from prominent audio and video music services on both subscription and ad-supported tiers, as well as download sales from top music retailers.
