Adekunle Gold said that while people are trying to do legitimate business in the country, the Customs are busy making it hard for businesses to flourish.

The singer expressed his frustration with the customs duty that is usually placed on any item being imported to the country.

His fans also shared their horrible experience with the Customs, one even saying that her mom had to pay over one million just to have her goods released.

People are trying their hardest to do legitimate business in the country. Custom Duty is there doing a lot of madness and crippling businesses. Lord, make it make sense. Because I'm really tired.

My mum was lamenting the other day, they asked her for 1.5m for bribe to release her container, held it for almost a month then she had to pay extra for all the fees because of the delay, Nigeria will cripple you, people wondering why everyone isn’t bringing money back to invest
