Sarkodie, a rapper from Ghana, has revealed how the late Bob Marley was a collaborator on one of his songs.

The rapper explained how the collaboration with the late reggae legend, Bob Marley, came about during an interview on the popular UK podcast +44 Podcast with Sideman & Zeze Millz on Amazon Music.

Sarkodie claimed that the request for a verse came from the legend’s crew in an email, which is how the whole thing got started.

Sarkodie claimed that the experience was overpowering and that he nearly declined the feature because he felt undeserving.

Sarkodie felt he was not the appropriate fit for the song because it was a different experience for him to rap alongside a great like Bob Marley.

The rapper claimed that because the idea of rapping next to a legend kept running through his thoughts, he was hard on himself and had to be extremely careful with every sentence.

Ruthy, a critic of show business, thinks Sarkodie’s lyrics or verse on his cover of Bob Marley’s “Stir It Up” song are below average given the rapper’s skill level and Ethnic origins.

Sarkodie collaborated with Samini on a song called “Love Rocks,” and Ruthy in the Nhyira FM studios claims that Sarkodie did a fantastic job on the track when compared to Bob Marley and The Wailers’ “Stir it Up” remake!
