Nigerian singer Omah Lay has released an extended edition of his sophomore album, Clarity of Mind, adding four new songs to the original 12-track project, which arrived in April 2026.

Titled Clarity of Mind (Extended), the updated version brings the album’s tracklist to 16 songs, retaining the original records, including “Artificial Happiness,” “Jah Jah Knows,” “Coping Mechanism,” and “Amen.”
Among the new additions are two international collaborations. American rapper Gunna joins Omah Lay on “Back to Lagos,” while French singer Tiakola features on “Take.” The extended project also introduces two solo records, “Keep Going” and “Holy Ghost Fire.”
The new collaborations bring different international influences into Omah Lay’s sound. While Gunna adds an American hip-hop presence, Tiakola’s melodic approach complements the Nigerian singer’s distinctive vocals, further expanding the album’s musical direction.
The additional tracks also build on the themes explored in the original release, touching on personal growth, spirituality, relationships, and the complexities that come with success. These introspective subjects continue a creative direction Omah Lay has developed since his 2020 EP, Get Layd, and his 2022 debut album, Boy Alone.
The extended release also gives the singer another opportunity to keep the Clarity of Mind album campaign moving, particularly as the remaining dates of his supporting tour have been postponed following a knee ligament injury.
Clarity of Mind (Extended) is now available on all major streaming platforms.
